The short version: Chery Pakistan has cut the Chery Tiggo 7 Super Hybrid (PHEV) to Rs 9,499,000 from Rs 10,349,000, a saving of Rs 850,000. It calls this a "Price Lock & Tax Lock" limited-stock offer. Early bookings also get a 7 kW home charger worth Rs 100,000. Chery has not published an end date, so the offer can be withdrawn at any time. There is one variant, the Tiggo 7 Premium 2WD. It has a 1.5 TGDI engine and an 18.3 kWh battery, with 342 hp, 525 Nm, 90+ km of electric range and 1,200+ km combined. At this price it costs the same as an MG HS Hybrid+ and less than every other plug-in hybrid SUV listed on Autowheels.
We checked the price, offer wording and specs on Chery Pakistan's official Tiggo 7 page and its official Tiggo 7 brochure on 20 October 2026. Below we cover what the offer includes, the full spec, a worked financing example, running costs at today's petrol price, and how the Tiggo 7 compares with rival PHEVs and hybrids.

What "tax locked" means for you: Chery has not explained the term in detail on its page. Before paying, ask the dealer to write on your booking form whether the Rs 9,499,000 price is fixed until delivery even if taxes change. Also ask what freight, registration and withholding tax are on top, because the advertised figure is the price before those charges. Some PHEV tax proposals have been reported, but they are still only drafts. We have found no enacted change to PHEV sales tax. Our hybrid and EV tax explainer and report on the IMF's plug-in hybrid GST request explain where things stand.
Chery Pakistan's dealer network lists outlets in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Multan. Chery Pakistan says all its Tiggo PHEVs, including the Tiggo 7, are locally assembled.

Tiggo 7 Super Hybrid financing: a worked example
Chery Pakistan's Tiggo 7 page does not publish financing or monthly instalment terms, and we found no bank-published Tiggo 7 instalment plan. The table below is our own worked example, not a bank quote. It is built on these assumptions:
- Financed amount of Rs 3,000,000, so you pay Rs 6,499,000 upfront against the Rs 9,499,000 price. Freight, registration, insurance and bank fees are extra.
- A 3-year (36-month) tenure. Under SBP BPRD Circular Letter No. 19 of 2022, the maximum auto-finance tenure for vehicles above 1,000cc was set at three years. Confirm with your bank that this still applies.
- A reducing-balance markup of 12%, 15% or 18% a year. Your bank's actual rate depends on KIBOR, its spread and your profile.
| Assumed markup | Monthly instalment (36 months) | Total markup paid | Total paid (down payment + instalments) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12% a year | Rs 99,643 | Rs 587,145 | Rs 10,086,148 |
| 15% a year | Rs 103,996 | Rs 743,855 | Rs 10,242,856 |
| 18% a year | Rs 108,457 | Rs 904,459 | Rs 10,403,452 |
Banks also cap how much auto financing one person can take and set a minimum down payment. Ask your bank for its current Tiggo 7 terms, including insurance, processing fees and whether the free charger is included with a financed booking.
Running cost at Rs 386.30 a litre
Petrol (MS) is Rs 386.30 a litre from 17 October 2026 under the OGRA notification, as shown on our fuel prices page. Filling the 60-litre tank from empty costs about Rs 23,178.
A PHEV's running cost depends on how often you charge it. Chery does not publish a Pakistan km/l figure, so this is our worked example. Assumptions: 1,500 km a month; 16.6 km/l when running on petrol, which is the fuel average listed on the Autowheels Tiggo 7 PHEV page; 0.23 kWh per km from the wall when driving on electricity, which includes charging losses; and an assumed Rs 60 per kWh electricity cost. Check your own bill, and solar charging would cost less.
| Scenario (1,500 km a month) | Petrol | Electricity | Total a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| No charging (petrol and hybrid only) | Rs 34,907 | Rs 0 | Rs 34,907 |
| Charged at home, 60% of km on electricity | Rs 13,963 | Rs 12,420 | Rs 26,383 |
| Charged daily, 85% of km on electricity | Rs 5,236 | Rs 17,595 | Rs 22,831 |
On these assumptions, charging at home saves about Rs 8,524 a month at 60% electric driving and about Rs 12,076 at 85%, against never plugging in. Chery quotes 90+ km of electric range, so if most of your daily driving is within that and you can charge overnight, much of it can be done on electricity. On long trips the car runs as a hybrid, and Chery quotes a combined range of 1,200+ km.

| Kia Sportage L HEV | Hybrid | Rs 12,199,000 | Rs 2,700,000 more |
| Haval H6 PHEV | PHEV | Rs 12,895,000 | Rs 3,396,000 more |
What the table shows:
- The cheapest plug-in hybrid SUV listed on Autowheels. The MG HS PHEV is Rs 400,000 more, the JAECOO J7 Rs 1,000,000 more and the OMODA 7 Rs 1,150,000 more. The Tiggo 7's own big brother, the Tiggo 8, is Rs 1,500,000 more and adds seven seats. See our Tiggo 8 price-lock analysis.
- Self-charging hybrids now cost about the same. The Corolla Cross HEV and HR-V e:HEV are both Rs 200,000 less, and the Jolion HEV is about Rs 383,000 less. The MG HS Hybrid+ costs exactly the same. None of these can be plugged in, so if you can charge at home, the Tiggo 7 should use far less petrol on short daily trips.
- The Deepal S05 REEV (REEV Max) is Rs 500,000 more. It drives mainly on electricity and uses its petrol engine as a generator. Our XPeng L03 vs Deepal S05 comparison explains how range-extenders work.
- Bigger hybrids such as the Haval H6 PHEV and Sportage L HEV now cost Rs 2.7 million to Rs 3.4 million more.

Who should buy the Tiggo 7 Super Hybrid
- Buy it if you can charge at home or at work, most of your daily driving is within about 90 km, and you want a well-equipped five-seat SUV with Level 2 ADAS and 8 airbags for under Rs 1 crore.
- Think twice if you cannot charge regularly. Without charging it runs as a hybrid, and a Corolla Cross HEV or HR-V e:HEV costs a little less.
- Look at the Tiggo 8 if you need seven seats, or at used options on our used Chery Tiggo 7 listings.
The full Chery range is on our Chery cars page, including the Tiggo 9. For the electric hatch, see the Chery Q EV launch.
Verdict

It is also priced in line with self-charging hybrids such as the Corolla Cross HEV and HR-V e:HEV. If you can charge it, it offers the most electric driving per rupee in this class.
