Chery Master Pakistan has launched the Chery Q EV at an introductory price of PKR 5,554,000, with a complimentary 7 kW home charger worth PKR 100,000 included in the current offer. The Pakistan-spec Q uses a 42.7 kWh battery, 90 kW rear-mounted motor and carries a claimed 400 km NEDC range, while the Premium configuration adds six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 540-degree camera and a 15.6-inch infotainment screen.

Millat Group is preparing to enter Pakistan’s electric two-wheeler market with a range of electric motorcycles and scooters, with a launch reportedly targeted for October 2026. The project has progressed from an initial feasibility study to an MoU with a Chinese electric-bike manufacturer, while recent management comments indicate that a dedicated EV production facility is ready. Pakistan’s imports of new and used motor cars rose to $81.4 million during July and August 2026, around 36% higher than the same period a year earlier, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics-derived trade data. The increase reflects continued used-car imports alongside a growing flow of completely built-up new vehicles, including EVs and hybrids. However, the 36% figure represents import value in US dollars — not a 36% increase in the number of vehicles imported.
