Corrections Policy

How AutoWheels handles factual errors, corrections and article updates.

Corrections Policy

AutoWheels aims to publish accurate automotive information. This page explains how to report a suspected factual error and how we handle corrections once an article is published.

Accuracy matters

AutoWheels aims to publish accurate information. Mistakes still happen, and when they do we would rather know about them and fix them than leave them in place.

Reporting a suspected error

If you believe something we have published is factually wrong, please tell us through Help & Support. It helps if you can include the article title or link, the specific statement you think is wrong, and — if you have one — a source we can check.

How corrections are handled

We review reports against the available sources. Where we find a factual error, we correct the article. Where we cannot establish that something is wrong, we may leave the article unchanged and say so.

When a correction is noted on the article

A correction that changes the substance or meaning of an article may be accompanied by a note on the article explaining what changed. Routine edits — fixing a typo, a broken link, or formatting — do not usually need a correction note.

Dates and article history

Correcting or updating an article does not change its original publication date. Articles show when they were first published and, separately, when they were last meaningfully updated, so you can tell the difference between an older article and a recent change to it.
