As of 6 October 2026, the cheapest new passenger cars on the five big makers’ own lists in Pakistan still start with Suzuki’s Alto at about Rs 30 lakh, with Cultus, Swift, Yaris and City filling the rest of the sub-Rs 50 lakh band. Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and Kia’s own websites showed no maker-announced 1 October price rise when checked on 30 September. The Stonic Turbo is a separate 1 October launch. All figures below are ex-factory Pakistani rupees unless noted. Freight, withholding tax, insurance and registration are extra.

Fronx hybrid: do not pick one number
Suzuki’s own list (30 September) shows the Fronx GLX 6AT Hybrid ADAS at Rs 6,799,999 to Rs 6,874,999. Other Fronx hybrid figures circulating since the SRO use different variant names and do not match Suzuki’s list. Until a dealer confirms the exact labelled variant, ask for a written quote. Do not use Autowheels’ Fronx cards alone as the hybrid invoice.
Stonic catalogue warning
The Stonic model page still shows older EX / EX+ cards (about Rs 48.62 lacs / Rs 59.99 lacs) as primary variants, while the Turbo X / Turbo S prices appear in the price-history rows dated 1 October. For October bookings, treat Rs 5,499,000 and Rs 5,899,000 as the announced turbo ex-factory prices, as announced by Lucky Motor when bookings opened on 1 October 2026. Full payment locks limited November–December stock; a Rs 1,000,000 partial payment books after December and does not freeze against new government charges.
What extra money buys from Rs 50 to Rs 70 lakh
- ~Rs 55–59 lakh — Stonic Turbo: compact crossover with 1.0 turbo and 7-speed DCT; Turbo S adds sunroof and kit for Rs 400,000.
- ~Rs 60–65 lakh — Fronx petrol / Corolla / City Aspire / Elantra SE: choose crossover stance (Fronx), Toyota sedan resale (Corolla), Honda mid-trim (City Aspire) or Hyundai styling (Elantra SE).
- ~Rs 70 lakh+: HR-V VTi-S and Corolla Cross petrol sit just above this guide’s ceiling and open the crossover-hybrid conversation covered in the under-1-crore shortlist.
Freight, tax and registration
Ex-factory is not on-road. Kia states its list prices exclude withholding tax, freight and insurance. Registration and advance tax are paid separately and vary by city and filer status. Budget a buffer beyond the table before you sign. Pay only into the manufacturer’s account.
