Sazgar Engineering Works Limited is reported to have opened Pakistan bookings for the ARCFOX T5 REEV in early October 2026, with two variants priced at Rs 10.195 million and Rs 10.495 million. The figures come from accounts of a company announcement after the model was shown at a Karachi new wheels expo. A public Sazgar price circular was not available to check line by line, so treat the list as reported and confirm the invoice with an authorised dealer before you pay a booking amount.
ARCFOX sits under BAIC. Sazgar already has a technical and cooperation link with BAIC for four wheelers, and company briefings plus a stock market filing have said the firm intends to introduce ARCFOX new energy vehicles in Pakistan. Whether early units arrive as completely built imports or as kits for local assembly still depends on the unfinished Auto Policy 2026 to 2031, according to those same briefings.
The reported price and booking list
The standard ARCFOX T5 REEV is reported at Rs 10.195 million, which is Rs 10,195,000. The higher trim, called Apex, is reported at Rs 10.495 million, which is Rs 10,495,000. The gap between the two is Rs 300,000.
Booking amounts in the same accounts are Rs 2.05 million for the standard car and Rs 2.1 million for the Apex. Expected delivery is described as three to four months for both. That window is an estimate in the reports, not a contract you can bank on without written confirmation from the dealer.
The reports do not say that these figures include freight, insurance, registration or withholding tax. A filer and a non filer can also face a different withholding tax. Do not read Rs 10.195 million to Rs 10.495 million as an on road total in any city.
What the reports claim about the powertrain
Accounts describe the T5 as a range extended electric SUV rather than a conventional petrol hybrid. An electric motor drives the wheels. A petrol engine mainly generates electricity when the battery needs more energy. That setup is meant to cut reliance on public charging on long trips, but it still uses petrol once the range extender runs.
The Pakistan spec figures in wide circulation are 268 hp and 365 Nm of torque, a 27.4 kWh battery, a claimed 193 km pure electric range on the NEDC cycle, and a claimed combined range of 1,060 km. Direct current fast charging is claimed to take the pack from 20 percent to 80 percent in under 15 minutes, depending on the charger. Range and charge times are manufacturer claims, not a Pakistan road test.
Both variants are said to share that core powertrain. The extra Rs 300,000 for Apex is described as comfort equipment, including front seat massage on the higher trim, rather than more power or more range. Key cabin claims across the line include a glass roof and an 18 speaker sound system. Dimensions quoted with the launch accounts are 4,760 mm length, 1,936 mm width, 1,650 mm height and a 2,845 mm wheelbase.
Where the T5 sits against cars already listed
At about Rs 10.2 million to Rs 10.5 million, the reported list sits in a crowded electrified crossover band. Buyers comparing range extended and battery electric options can start with the Deepal range, the BYD range and the BAIC models already on the directory, then compare cars side by side. Sazgar also sells Haval vehicles, so that brand page is another useful stop for context on the same dealer network.
The wider new car directory is the place to watch for an ARCFOX card. Until a live row appears, use the dealer quotation rather than a third party summary.
What to ask before you book
Ask whether the quoted figure is ex factory or on road, which variant the booking locks, and whether the reported Rs 2.05 million or Rs 2.1 million is adjustable against the final invoice. Ask for the delivery month in writing. Confirm the sales tax line on the quotation, because draft Auto Policy rates are not the tax a dealer must charge this week.
Keep this launch separate from the unfinished Auto Policy 2026 to 2031. A proposed one percent sales tax idea for new energy vehicles is still a draft, and reported IMF talks have put that idea under challenge, including the separate note on plug in and range extended GST pressure. The guide to what is law now and what is still a draft is the right split to read before anyone prices a future tax cut into the booking. Anything that still burns petrol also depends on the petrol and diesel price, which moves on its own schedule.
