The S is the entry grade in the second-generation Dayz range. It retains the same compact five-door body and 660 cc naturally aspirated powertrain while using a simpler convenience specification than the X and Highway Star grades.

The Dayz S uses an Xtronic continuously variable transmission. Most Pakistan imports are front-wheel drive, although source-market four-wheel-drive examples also exist.

The original entry-grade specification commonly uses manual air conditioning, while higher Dayz grades use touch-panel automatic climate control. The exact imported vehicle should be checked physically.

The Dayz S is designed for four occupants. Its upright body provides good headroom for a kei hatchback, but performance with four adults and luggage remains modest.

Depending on production year and options, the S can include emergency braking, lane warning, pedal-misapplication support, stability control, hill-start assistance and airbags. Do not assume every imported unit has the same package.

Its small engine and light body can deliver good city fuel economy when properly maintained. Traffic, air-conditioning use, tyre pressure and driving style have a major effect on real consumption.

The S is simpler and usually less expensive, while the X commonly adds keyless convenience, upgraded climate control and more refined trim. Mechanical performance is broadly similar on naturally aspirated versions.

Check the auction history, CVT, engine mounts, cooling system, suspension, tyres, air conditioning and electronic safety warnings. Confirm that the mileage and grade match the import documents.
