ST is a mid-grade Australian specification above the basic work versions and below ST-X. It combines practical equipment with improved styling and cabin technology.

Relevant Australian D23 ST dual-cab versions use the 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel. Manual and seven-speed automatic transmissions were available.

Both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive ST versions existed. The 4WD vehicle should have selectable four-wheel drive and an electronic rear differential lock on relevant models.
