The Cayman S uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine producing 257 kW or 350 PS.

Porsche lists 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 285 km/h. PDK and Sport Chrono can improve acceleration.

It uses a larger 2.5-litre turbo engine with more power and torque, giving stronger acceleration and higher performance than the 300 PS base model.

A six-speed manual and seven-speed PDK have been offered. Exact availability should be confirmed because current 718 factory ordering is limited in some markets.

The Cayman S is a two-seat sports coupé. Its mid-engine design allows separate luggage compartments at the front and rear.

It can be used daily by one or two people, but firm suspension, low clearance, performance tyres and limited passenger capacity must be considered.

The GTS uses a naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine with 400 PS and more specialised chassis equipment. The S is turbocharged, less expensive and generally easier to use every day.
