It uses a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine producing 294 kW or 400 PS.

Porsche lists 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 293 km/h. PDK with Sport Chrono can improve acceleration.

The GTS uses a larger naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine and adds performance-focused suspension, exhaust, styling and interior equipment.

The model has been offered with a six-speed manual or seven-speed PDK, subject to limited current production and factory-order availability.

It has two seats and front and rear luggage compartments. The powered soft top enables open-air driving while preserving useful weekend luggage capacity.

It is more usable than an RS model, but the suspension is firm, the cabin can be noisy with the roof open and low clearance requires careful driving.

Inspect the fabric, seals, frame, electric mechanism and drainage channels. Water ingress or poor roof alignment can be expensive to correct.
