2026 GAC AION UT Price in Pakistan

The GAC AION UT is the most compact and affordable model in the current AION Pakistan range. Although officially described as an urban EV crossover, its five-door proportions and low, rounded body make hatchback the clearest marketplace category. The design combines eyebrow-style headlamps, pixel-inspired rear lighting, a short bonnet and carefully shaped air curtains. At 4,270 mm long and 1,850 mm wide, it is easier to manoeuvre than the AION V, yet its 2,750 mm wheelbase matches the larger SUV and creates unexpectedly generous rear passenger space.

Power comes from a front electric motor producing 100 kW and 145 Nm. The UT is tuned for smooth city driving and efficient commuting rather than rapid acceleration. The instant response is helpful in stop-and-go traffic, and the compact body should be easy for new EV drivers to place in parking spaces. A 44.12 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with GAC Magazine Battery technology provides an official 400 km NEDC range and 335 km WLTP range. The WLTP figure is the more realistic comparison, although actual Pakistan range will depend on temperature, air-conditioning use, traffic and speed.

The charging package includes a 6.6 kW AC onboard charger and up to 64 kW DC charging. GAC lists 40 minutes for a 10–80 percent DC fast charge. This is slower than the AION V and HYPTEC HT, but the smaller battery also requires less total energy. For normal ownership, a home wall charger remains the most convenient solution. Vehicle-to-load capability allows the battery to power compatible external appliances, which can be useful for outdoor activities or emergency low-power use when operated within the manufacturer's limits.

The cabin is designed to feel larger and more premium than the price category suggests. The official Pakistan leaflet lists a 14.6-inch infotainment display, an 8.88-inch digital cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six speakers and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Elite specification uses high-grade fabric upholstery and manually adjusted front seats, helping control cost. The dashboard's light design, compact air vents and open centre area create a modern atmosphere, while the French Cream and Black interior scheme gives the cabin a distinctive identity.

Safety equipment is comprehensive for a compact EV. Six airbags, front and rear parking sensors and a surround-view camera are standard in the official local specification. The assistance package includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot detection, door-opening warning and rear cross-traffic alerts. Automatic LED lighting, tyre-pressure monitoring and heated, folding exterior mirrors also support daily usability.

The AION UT's luggage area is officially listed at 440 litres in the Pakistan leaflet, giving it useful family and shopping practicality. Its main compromises are the manual tailgate, fabric seats, lower 64 kW fast-charge ceiling and less powerful torque output than larger EVs. Pakistan's developing public charging network also means the vehicle works best for owners with dedicated parking and reliable home charging. At its current market price, the UT offers a strong combination of range, technology, cabin space and active safety for city commuters and small families making their first move to an electric vehicle.
