Punjab Excise Holds Imported Vehicle Transfers for One Year

Punjab Excise is reported to block transfer of an imported vehicle for one year after it is registered, using a check in the registration system. The federal order of 15 January 2026 already bars transfer of gift and transfer of residence vehicles for one year from the import date, and those two clocks are not the same.
