The JAECOO J6 is the most visually distinctive model in the brand’s Pakistan line-up. Its upright body, squared wheel arches, roof rails and short overhangs give it an off-road-inspired appearance, although it is primarily a road-focused electric SUV. The official local range includes three variants. The Comfort uses a 49.9 kWh battery with two-wheel drive, the Luxury increases battery capacity to 65.6 kWh while retaining two-wheel drive, and the Premium uses a 69.7 kWh battery with all-wheel drive. This structure allows buyers to choose between a lower initial cost, longer-range battery capacity and the added traction and performance of dual-motor AWD.

Standard equipment is generous across the range. Pakistan-market vehicles include a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, 9.2-inch instrument display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, intelligent voice control, 50 W wireless phone charging and USB connections for front and rear occupants. Pioneer audio is fitted to the Comfort and Luxury, while the Premium upgrades to a 12-speaker Infinity system. The clean digital cabin uses a steering-column-mounted selector and provides multiple drive modes. Comfort and Luxury include Eco, Normal, Sport and Custom settings, while the AWD Premium adds All-road, Slippery, Beach, Muddy and Bumpy modes for different surface conditions.

Comfort features include a panoramic sunroof, side-opening powered tailgate, powered front seats, driver height adjustment, ventilated front and rear seating, 64-colour ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control with remote operation and an auto-dimming interior mirror. The Premium also adds an electrically adjustable front passenger leg support and offers a green-and-black interior choice. The side-hinged rear door contributes to the rugged design and can make loading convenient in open areas, but it needs extra space behind the vehicle and can be awkward in tight parking bays.

The J6 also provides a broad safety and assistance package. Official specifications list a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist and an ADAS system. LED headlights, daytime running lights, rain-sensing wipers and acoustic front glass support everyday visibility and refinement. The Premium’s all-wheel drive and extra terrain modes improve traction on loose or slippery surfaces, but the J6 should not be treated as a conventional petrol-powered off-roader without confirming water, ground-clearance and towing limitations for the exact variant.

In Pakistan, ownership is easiest for drivers with access to overnight charging at home or work. The larger-battery versions provide more flexibility for intercity use, but real driving range varies with speed, weather, air-conditioning, load and terrain. Public charging is expanding but remains less predictable than petrol availability. Other considerations include the cost of specialised EV repairs, large replacement tyres, insurance and the developing dealer network. The J6 is a strong choice for buyers who prioritise styling, cabin technology, quiet performance and electric running costs, while the exact battery and drivetrain should be selected according to daily distance, charging access and budget.
