Official Pakistan figures include 436 hp, 650 Nm of maximum torque, all-wheel drive, 0–100 km/h acceleration in 5.7 seconds and a combined driving range of up to 800 km. The 29.58 kWh Blade Battery provides a quoted NEDC electric range of 100 km, while a 60-litre fuel tank supports longer journeys. Actual electric and combined range depends on battery charge, payload, towing, terrain, speed, weather and driving style. Regular charging is important for owners who want to maximise electric running and fuel savings.

Capability is a major part of the SHARK 6’s appeal. BYD Pakistan lists 230 mm of unladen ground clearance, a 700 mm wading depth, terrain modes for mud, sand and snow, and towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg with trailer brakes. The load tray is rated at 1,200 litres, making it useful for equipment and recreational gear. Double-wishbone suspension is used at both ends, which is intended to provide a more composed ride than traditional leaf-sprung pickups while retaining robust off-road performance. Owners should still match tyre choice, load distribution and driving technique to the terrain.

The cabin is more car-like than many work pickups. Official equipment includes a 15.6-inch rotating display, a 10.25-inch driver display, 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a head-up display and a 12-speaker Dynaudio system. Safety equipment includes seven airbags and a broad driver-assistance suite. These features make the SHARK 6 attractive as a daily family vehicle, but its considerable length and width can make parking, narrow streets and tight commercial sites more demanding.

Vehicle-to-Load capability allows compatible external equipment to be powered from the vehicle, which can be valuable for worksites, camping and remote activities. The hybrid system also provides flexibility when charging is unavailable, because the petrol engine can support extended travel. However, the powertrain is more complex than a conventional pickup, and owners should use authorised service facilities and follow maintenance requirements for both the combustion and high-voltage systems. Insurance, replacement tyres, body dimensions and charging installation should be included in the buying decision.

The BYD SHARK 6 is best suited to customers who will use its towing, load-carrying, off-road and power-supply abilities rather than purchasing it only for appearance. It delivers unusually strong acceleration and a high level of cabin technology for a pickup, while its plug-in hybrid layout can reduce fuel use on daily journeys when charged regularly. Its size, weight, price and complexity are significant considerations, but it offers a distinctive alternative to diesel double-cab pickups in Pakistan.
