The new BMW iX3 marks the beginning of BMW's Neue Klasse production era and is substantially different from the previous model that shared its body with the combustion-engined X3. The current Pakistan website introduces the iX3 50 xDrive with a dedicated electric architecture, a cleaner exterior design, flush door handles and a modern cabin developed around BMW Panoramic iDrive. Its five-seat SUV body makes it suitable for families and business users who need easier entry, useful luggage space and greater road presence than an electric sedan.

BMW's official figures list two electric motors, intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive and 345 kW of maximum output. The iX3 can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 210 km/h. The new Heart of Joy computer coordinates propulsion, braking, recuperation and chassis responses, aiming to deliver smooth control as well as the steering accuracy associated with BMW. These figures apply to the iX3 50 xDrive, while future versions may have different outputs and equipment.

The 108.7 kWh usable high-voltage battery supports a quoted WLTP range of up to 805 km, although official values cover a range depending on wheels and specification. Real driving distance in Pakistan will be influenced by motorway speed, ambient temperature, air-conditioning demand, traffic, gradients, passengers and battery condition. The 800-volt electrical system supports peak DC charging of up to 400 kW, allowing BMW to quote a 10–80 per cent charge in about 21 minutes under ideal conditions. At home, 11 kW AC charging is standard internationally, with higher-capacity equipment available in some configurations.

The cabin replaces a conventional instrument cluster with BMW Panoramic Vision, which projects configurable information across the lower windscreen. A separate central display, multifunction steering wheel and optional 3D head-up display complete the control system. BMW Operating System X supports navigation, voice control, software updates and connected services, but individual apps and data-based functions may differ in Pakistan. Standard and optional driver-assistance packages also vary by country, so buyers should rely on the local build sheet rather than a foreign-market equipment list.

Practicality is a major strength. The rear luggage area holds around 520 litres and can expand to approximately 1,750 litres with the rear seats folded, while a separate 58-litre front compartment can store charging cables. The rear backrest angle is adjustable and the 40:20:40 split supports long items. Large optional wheels improve appearance but can reduce ride comfort and range while increasing tyre replacement cost on rough Pakistani roads.

The iX3's full benefit depends on charging access. Home charging should be professionally installed with suitable protection, earthing and electrical capacity. Its 400 kW maximum cannot be reached on ordinary local chargers, but the vehicle can charge at lower-powered DC stations. Buyers should confirm the connector, included cables, wallbox, battery warranty, navigation support and the local status of features such as V2L, V2H and V2G. The six listed paint finishes reflect the official launch palette; exact Pakistan availability should be checked at order time. For buyers prepared for electric ownership, the new BMW iX3 combines excellent space, fast charging capability and one of BMW's most advanced digital platforms.
